Wardrobe Wants Fall 2012

These are some items that I have been wanting for a few seasons, that are beginning to trend which allows for even more offerings.

First Row: The Avant Garde down Vest

Second Row: The perfect one button, dark blazer. Rick has been doing some amazing ones for a few seasons and of course is my ideal choice, but there are some great options from The Viridi Anne and Julius. Both brands have been perfecting their versions for years as well.

Third Row: Dropped, cropped tailored trouser. For me nothing beats the Rick Owens tailored pod. Here are a few versions.

GUS GUS live from KEX Hostel by KEXP

KEXP is a local, awesome radio station here in Seattle. They partner with the Iceland Airwaves musical festival each year, and did this great live set recording/video of GUS GUS last year. I cannot wait to go back to Reykjavik for Airwaves 2012! By the way, we stayed in the KEX Hostel last week and it is amazing. Definitely staying there again.

Rick Owens is the most influential designer of the moment. I believe that statement rings true for the fashion industry as well as myself. His branching into furniture over the past few years, continues the image and range of his design. In his own words, the furniture is his couture.

Covers everything, sheer in the right places. Has victorian vibe that is fantastic, plus they typically have great little mandarin collars. Nothing says sexy like covering everything up, but with hints of skin here and there.
