So I have been planning on upgrading, replacing, and refurbishing my Sizemore Commuter for quite some time now. Below are some parts from Orange Velo parts that I am planning on getting. Once I receive them, I’ll tune it up, and slap on a new chain and add some grease where needed. It’s been over two years since I got this bike and it’s been through a lot of inappropriate riding (hitting jumps, jumping stairs, doing footdrag skids) but is handling it all very well.

Porteur Handlebars

Tektro City Brake Levers.
I am also having Mr. Sizemore build me a Porteur rack for the front, almost identical to the one on his commuter.

Here is an amazing interior photo. I love the stark contrast, and the corrosion on the chalk board hanging on the wall.

I am currently obsessing over the thought of owning an awesome late 60′s Karmann Ghia. It is a perfect car for me for a few reasons, not too expensive, looks amazing (more like an old Porsche or Alfa Romeo than a VW) and it’s got an engine that is easy to work on! I can see myself now, blasting The Beach Boys and cruising around Seattle.
Here are some ones I love.

Dreaming over those car is great and I would consider relatively obtainable. But then of course I came to find this thing!

A Ghia with a Porsche 993 engine. I am so glad the retained the original shape and styling of this car, just slightly adding width to the fenders to fit the new drive train. The Porsche wheels look amazing on this as well. If there were a vintage styled James Bond movie made today, he could drive this car. Also, it has 321 horse power!

Finish it up with a video about the car. It’s in German, but still great.
Here is an awesome video put together by a few awesome dudes. This is the Future Tense event that took place last friday. We got ramps provided by Red Bull, and had a lot of fun. Check out the video below.
Big thanks goes out to Red Bull, Zlog and of course everyone else who came out and had fun!
Here is an awesome complete concert of the Beach Boys from 1964. I am really getting into Brian Wilson right now. Also working on learning God Only Knows on piano.
Transworld is releasing their “top 30 most influential skaters” list one video at a time. Geoff Rowley was ranked number 26, but is definitely number 1 most influential for me. Check out his interview below:

Here is a photo Matt took of me getting that bump to wall. This angle really shows the gap from the bump to the wall, and how I had to avoid the electrical box to get there. Was pretty stoked on this one.
