Soul Riders

Localiser : Clermont-Ferrand from Soul Bmx Magazine on Vimeo.

I love this video from Soul Bmx Magazine that corresponds with an article they featured. These dues have great style. I especially love the pegless dude at the end. Riders are Théo De Olivera, Antoine Neuville, Sylvain “Badiss” Bony, Alex Garczinski, Maxime Dewey Triay, Adrien Rabat, William Naze and Killian Limousin.

Evolution Killed The Track Bike

Trek T1

I lost all of my photos and files etc a few months ago when my computer crashed. I know, I know, you’re supposed to back up everything, but I didn’t do that. So last night I went photo digging online to find all of the bikes I have ridden and their various forms. Here they are in chronological order:

I’m looking forward to getting a new bike built up over the next month and getting back to riding the bikes I’ve grown to love so much over the past 7 years. What a journey it’s been so far, both in breaking parts and bones, gashing tires and flesh. Ready to keep seeing where the fixed drivetrain limit is.

A huge thank you to all my sponsors over the years: Leader Bikes, Sizemore Bicycle, HPLUSSON, Resist Parts, SKYLMT, HoldFast, Coal Headwear, Zlog, CSK, Ruff Bike Co, and anyone else who’s supported me over the years.

BRYANANTON_2014_COLLINADE_TYLER-5

I went and hit up the 1-5 Colonnade MTB Park last weekend with Bryan, who took these photos. I’ve been having a blast riding the converted disc Sizemore TT bike, unfortunately while riding around my chain broke, but it didn’t keep me from having fun in the pump track. This bike is going to see some changes coming soon that I can’t wait to share, but will have to.

DENNY WINS BIKE DESIGN CONTEST

And the winner is
Sizemore and Teague win the 2014 Oregon Manifest Bike Design Contest with their bike, the Denny. I could not be more proud and happy for one of my best friends to rightfully win something of this magnitude. Especially because no we all get a chance to buy this bike!

SEA OREGON MANIFEST REVEAL PARTY

A Frame Sign
On Friday night, we stopped by AXIS Pioneer Square for the Oregon Manifest Seattle Bike Reveal Party. It was an awesome turn out and a phenominal space. The Denny bike, designed by Teague and Sizemore Bicycle, was the focal point of this night leaving many blown away by the quality and continuity of design. Every couple of minutes a person would tap a brake lever and get the turn signals  or brake light going, marveling at the integration of all the features.  Before the event, I asked Chelsey if she would shoot photos of the reveal party for the blog for a couple reasons: I knew I’d be enjoying it and nerding out on the bike and videos and I knew she’d find more artistic ways to represent the space, party and bikes…. And she did. See more pics below, and make sure to VOTE.

THE BIKE DESIGN PROJECT

The Bike Design Project voting is live. I was impressed by all of the bike’s created and their innovative features, but none compare to what was accomplished by Teague X Sizemore Bicycle in the entry “Denny”. This bike has integrated turn signals, headlights, brake light, electronic assist, automatic shifting, minimal revolutionary fender design, u-lock removable handlebars, belt drive, the sickest integrated front rack and it was made here in Seattle.
